Looper Remixes
The looper remixes are a catalogue of electronic music compositions that were produced in collaboration with young people in schools and cultural institutions such as Tate Britain, London Symphony Orchestra, and Chester Zoo.
The creative engagements with young people focused on environmental listening, material experimentation, and connection to place, encouraging participants to use pyka_loop as a lens to explore the world around them. Participants captured and manipulated found sound to produce looping audio collages, which were later remixed together to produce electronic compositions reflecting the cohort, place, or project.
Looper projects were delivered by pyka as a 6-week course offering to schools, and as workshops organised with learning, outreach and engagement teams at cultural institutions.
